What version of Ghost were these disks made with?
What kind of media are you using to load the software (floppy, CD, DVD, Flash)?
Does the boot disk contain any type of network mappings or request for an IP address? It is quite possible that the disk compiled does not have network support for the NIC onboard to send and obtain bootp/dhcp requests to obtain IP address, and it is getting stuck at the networking portion of the disk. Considering this is a fairly new model computer, I would start there initially and suggest checking the version of ghost the disk was made with and try to obtain a compatible network adapter driver and recompile the boot media.
Hope that helps as a start.
