I'm currently busy with the setup of a NBS services on a windows 2003 server.
when i startup a workstation and try to PXE boot, the workstation receives an IP address but I cannot select winpe preboot configuration from the boot menu. I checked the bootdisk creation on that server and there I found a few issues.
This means that I have a location with a windows 2003 server (yes I know, but upgrade to more recent version is not possible). I pushed the service, it is configured, it is in the notification server green. But the network boot disk creator is always giving me an error in the bootwiz.log with the messages

and the last line it says
exit code (27) BDC_EXIT_CREATE_BOOTFILE - error creating boot file
I did the same configuration on WIndows 2012 R2 sever, enabled the NBS services, and the logfile says no error, and is working fine, I can select winpe from the bootmenu and finally I can select a job to deploy a system from the "initial deployment" menu.
Is someone who can give me advise or should I open a case at Symantec?
