Hi;

I installed BM scaner and control center on my stand alone machine. But i can't login control center, default user name and password (admin, symantec). I didn't change anything during instalation.
Yesterday night i uninstalled many times and install again but still can't login control center as default account.

Please Help Me.

Hi,

Could you please let me know which version of  Brightmail Message Filter you installed and on which OS?

We have a few articles about this problem, I hope they may help you:

• After New Installation Of Symantec Bright Mail Filter (SBMF) Control Center Unable to Log Into Control Center When MYSQL Database is Not Installed
• Logging on to the Brightmail Control Center fails and the MySQL service fails to restart

If the above don't help, please let me know the version of SBMF and the OS, along with error messages displayed when you try to log on (if any).

Thank you very much, i solved it :) it was mysql start problem. c:\windows\my.ini file solve my problem.

Hi again;

I installed brigthmail 6.11 on my windows 2003 server but when i open console but i can't login control center, default user name and password (admin, symantec) again. my.ini file is in C:\WINDOWS directory.

When i tryied login default user name and password Console login page can't request any masseges (wrong password or user name or etc.)

Can you help me ? 

What happens when you try to log in? Does it just drop you back to the login prompt without error, or does it give you an error?
