  • 1.  BSOD after upgrading to SEP 14

    I upgraded from SEP 12 to 14 (build 1904) a few days ago, and yesterday got a BSOD that traces back to MUPS.SYS

    When I googled MUPS.SYS, I found a long thread indicating that was due to SEP 14.  See:

    And the SEP upgrade was the only change made to this computer in the last month.

    Is this still a Symantec bug, a year later, that has still not been addressed?

    You upgraded to 14 RTM, which is a year old. This has since been fixed. You need to upgrade to 14 RU1:
