  • 1.  BSOD error while taking a Quick Image in DS 6.9 SP5

    Hi,

    This is Prashant. I had deployed a DS 6.9 in my testing environment. I have a DC with a DHCP installed which has WIn2k8 R2 edition. I have another Win2k8 R2 which has DS 6.9 installed. I have created a Win2k3 whose image i need to take and then deploy onto another systems. I am able to boot my windows 2k3 from network but after that it gives a BSOD error (see attached pic).

    Please help me on this.

    I am using a VmWare Workstation installed in my desktop with all 3 VMs running on it. I actually don't have a server to troubleshoot it. I even tried doing this (plz check the below link)

    but the issue remains the same.

    Can you confirm that for the settings of the VM you're testing with, you chose "Windows 2003 - 32 bit"? 

    Can you post a screenshot of the settings of your VM? Including client OS, CPU and memory settings?

    Make sure to assign at least 512MB of memory to your Windows 2003 VM, although I suspect a lower amount of memory would not cause this specific problem.

    HI,

    New issue, i am able to get the image of Win2k8 R2 (64bit OS) i.e. my DC but not of Win2k3 (32bit OS). Also i am not able to deploy Win2k8 image onto another VM which does not have OS at all.
