  • 1.  Can DLP Email Prevent read encrypted emails

    Hello all , I wanted to know that can we read email encrypted via PGP for policy violation when DLP Email Prevent is integrated with an MTA ? or DLP Email prevent cannot read encrypted emails for policy violations ?

    Symantec DLP can not read PGP encrypted email however we can tell that it was encrypted with PGP as opposed to another encryption product. PGP integration does exist for File Share Encrypted content such that we could read the email if it was on a share but not while in transit.
