You may have better luck posting in the Endpoint Protection forum on here.

After your install fails, looks for a file called SEP_INST.log.  Go to start > Run, type %temp% and hit ENTER.  If it's not in there, look in c:\windows\temp.

Wherever you find the file, open it and do a search for return value 3.  The 10 or so lines above that will tell you why the install is failing.  If you like, paste those 10 lines in this thread and we'll take a look.

SEP client install would get to the end and back out suddenly with no error message. Didn't matter how well I cleaned the PC, it would always do the same thing. Turned out that Windows Updates were pending, which prevented the SEP install from completing. Try installing all windows updates before your next attempt.

What OS are you installing on? If this is Windows 7, be sure you are installing at least RU5 (11.0.5002.333). All prior versions of SEP are not compatible with Win7 OS.

Keep us updated on your progress.

At 2 weeks ago I was with same problem. But after analising the process of the computer, I find the new virus with process similar the process for windows (spools.exe) on directory "c:\windows\system32\drivers".  This virus doesn´t let you install the SEP and roll back by it self.
Verify if the process exist in your machine.
