    I am currently using the embedded daatabase in SEPM but no success.

    Connection was succesfully on server but not connecting to another computer

    Needs to be to the server that hosts the DB

    my understanding the "Sem5" can't connect via another computer to do queries.

    As long as persmissions/credentials are correct it should work. Otherwise get a support case opened up so someone can remote in an look at it.

    How to see permissions to connect to sem5 database; Also can sem5 connect to via another to see queries.

    Symantec's License for the embedded database only allows for one connection to the database. i.e the SEPM server.  If you want to connect other Applications to the SEPM database to pull information, then you will need to either use the external logging feature of SEPM or switch to Microsoft SQL server
