I am trying to add other domain accounts in accounts and it doesn't let me.  If I type in the user as domain\john.dough it tells me "Account name should start with an alphabet and should not contain any special character other than '_ ' and '\'."  As such I cannot add users.

I do not see the option to add Active Directory groups as members of the Administration roles i.e. I am trying to add our AD\NS adminstrators group to the Symantec Administrators role.

I was able to create a user finally.  I did not realize that the first name merely names the account and is not actually the domain name.  I have not tried with groups yet however.

I am going through the same pain. I am sure in 7.0 when we tested it we could add the group and any users of that domain group would authenticate. I can set up each domain user I need to have access but that does not seem right.

Our 7.0 test box went a long time ago after no success so I cannot refer to that one.

I can add AD groups but not single accounts.

    That is only a workaround.
