  • 1.  Cannot email MessageLabs protected domains

    Hi,

    We have a problem that started 2 days ago unexpectedly. I began getting reports from staff that certain clients of ours weren’t receiving emails from us.
    On inspecting our mail logs I could see that the common factor between these clients was that they all use MessageLabs.

    I've checked the reputation tool and can see that we do not have a negative reputation so am I bit stumped what’s going on. We could email perfectly fine at the start of the week?

    Are there any other places I can check to see if MessageLabs have us on some kind of block list please?

    We are having the same issue.  None of our sending IPs appear on the blacklist.  But users are complaining that clients aren't receiving emails (and no bounces).  The only common denominator is that all of the clients are using the messagelabs service.

    From searching, it appears there are many users with our exact same issue.

    I’m disappointed Symantec haven’t commented on this already. We are losing creditability with our clients as a result of this and having called Symantec, they are only interested in talking to the users paying for their services -not those that are trying to email their users.

    In our case, the emails were originating from Gmail.
