  • 1.  Cannot load package menu of large package (17+GB)

    Hey guys/gals,

    Got a strange issue that needs a resolution...There is a package in my Symantec Management console that is 17+GB in size and has thousands of files, but I can no longer edit the package; it's stuck continuously loading.  I need to edit the package to change the site servers that the package is going to; I can't find another way of doing this...  

    Any ideas?

    Server info:

    Server 2008 R2
    SMP 8.1 RU 3

    Have you tried SMF ASDK: SoftwarePackageManagementLib.SetPackageServerSettings Method? http://yourNSServerURL/Altiris/ASDK.SMF/SoftwarePackageManagementService.asmx?op=SetPackageServerSettings

    BTW: Do you have any error in Notification Server Logs?
