    Hi,

I installed trial version Ghost Soultion Suite in my pc which I use as the server for test, but even after successful remote agent install into another remote pc, using "Tools" , "REmote Agent installer",   I still don't see the remote pc under "All Computers" in the Console. In that remote pc I verified remote agent files are indeed installed. I don't see any errors during the process. When browse computers section I did not see that pc name listed. So I did it by ip address of the pc. Can someone please let me know any step I'm missing ?

p.s. I've shutoff all Windows firewall, and I can ping that remote pc from my pc which is running the Ghost Suite. I can now browse that remote pc name when I'm trying to install the Remote Agent . but after the install, still no pc in the "All Computers". Any ideas ?

    K Chen,

There are a few issues that could be causing no dagent connectivity. When you say you installed the trial to your PC... Ghost Solution Suite is supported on Windows 10 enterprise x64, Server 2008 R2, Server 2012 R2. Documentation here https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.HOWTO111528.html. If you have Ghost Solution Suite installed on an unsupported environment, this could be causing your issue as well.

    1. Dagent Connectivity Issues - Encrypted Sessions

    https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.TECH234...

    2. Incorrect I.P address entered when doing remote install - On your client machine, open the dagent configuration by navigating to start and typing dagent configuration. Verify the I.P address is correct and that the service is started.

    3. Firewalls - Ghost Solution Suite uses tcp port 402 for client connectivity back to the console. This port will need to be unrestricted  on the server, client and any switches/firewalls that may be in between them.
