    We had a deployment job going/downloading to a computer - missed the prompt to choose the proper job. So the computer was just turned off/the job abruptly ended.

     

    3 laptops so far. Lenovo T440s/450s

     

    Trying to boot to a temporary device like LAN or External CD/DVD drive results in a black screen - no options/nothing happens at all. We can't even try to manually install Windows because after choosing the external disc drive - nothing shows at all.

    Typically for LAN we'd see something like PXE-GhostCast, Winp10, etc...now nothing. On all three laptops.

     

    The only common event between all three is that a Deployment Job was abruptly ended.

    Will,

     

    On the Ghost Solution Suite server, open services and verify that all Altiris are up and running.

    Not being able to boot to a windows CD would show something is going on with the machine itself? Hardware, bios etc..?
