i install first site at HQ use MS SQL 2008 R2 on my database server(windows 2008r2 x64) and SEP in another server(windows 2008r2 x64) it work fine. then i go to install in additional site as a replication partner(this server running on windows 2003 x86) i use embedded databse after wait for a few hour it occur the error message of "synchronization to the remote site failed cannot convert sqldatetime to a timestamp" in log say

i have 3 site

1 hq it has client about 100 

2 site 1 has client about 30

3 site 2 has client about 100

Client count is too low, i suggest that you can manage the remote site with GUP, it is the easyway to manage it.

Hi,

Update timestamp on server & initiate the replication.

Batch file will be available at the following locaiton:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\Tools\updatetime.bat 

I do agree with Sumit G as well, if there is no plan for expansion in the future.

It will be easy to manage clients using GUP.

However if you need additional SEPM then go ahead with Replication.
