The EDPA and WDP services are stopped and I cant started them. When I try show me a message (attach).

And cant unistall the agent .

How can I start the services and uninstall the agent?

Hello,

You can't start/stop the DLP services directly from the windows task manager. You will need to use the Vontu console / Agents List and from there disable or activate the Agent.

To unistall you also need to first shutdown the Agents from the Agents List in the console.

You might have better luck using the windows task manager if you are in Windows Safe Mode.

Still commenting on your initial question, you only can uninstall an agent if it has the services stopped (shutdown) performed from the Agents List in the Vontu console.

If you don’t know how the services got stopped, you should login in the machine using the windows safe mode, go to windows task manager and try to start the services again from there. Then and once the agent communicates again with the EPS/Vontu, perform the agent shutdown action on the agent.  Then you should be ok to uninstall it.

If it still doesn’t work, as last resource you can contact Symantec and request the Agent Clean Wipe tool.

But I cant start any service from the machine.
