  • 1.  can't update the java after Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager Remote Console

    i was have the experience of install SEP manager remote console, i was download the java and SEP manager remote console from the server, it's working all were OK, the java is version 8 update 101, i was updated the java to 8 update 121, but after updated, the SEP manager remote console was disappeared from start menu, the shortcut was not work. then i was go to the server website try to download and install again, but just a dialog box of java, SEP remote console not open. what's the problem? thanks

    Remove the new version of java

    on the same server

    http://Sepmserver:9090

    it will install the required java version

    then run the management server configuration wizard

    similar procedure to this one

    When attempting to launch the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager Java Web Console you receice the following error:"Unable to load resource http://<computer_name>:9090/client pkg/ext/smtp.jar"

    Go back in your SEPM, http://SEPMIP:9090 and re-download the remote console
