CD Startup Boot Package with Ghost working with keyboard but not with mouse

We have a system consisting of many desktops running Microsoft Window XP Professional and Microsoft Window 2000 Server. We bought Symantec Ghost Solution Suite Version 1.1 (Enterprise Solutions) and use Ghost Boot Wizard to create a CD Startup Boot Package with Ghost. First I created an image (.iso) on the hard drive and then burn it to a CD. At a review step just before create the image, I saw mouse.com is listed under configuration file. However, when I tried to use this newly created CD with any of our desktop, the mouse did not work (only the keyboard work). Is this a normal behaviour or is it a problem? Is there a solution or workaround? Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Ghost.exe is fully navigable via keyboard - so you should be able to get by without a mouse.

The mouse drivers were omitted from CD boot packages as the drivers attempt to write to a file when they load - and CDs are read-only. However, it seems that some people have had success adding mouse drivers to their CD boot packages for GSS 1.1 (I doubtful that their solution would work for older versions of GSS and Ghost Enterprise)
