  • 1.  Change of domain in SQL Configuration

    Does anything with SEPM need to be changed when changing the domain on embeded SQL Server. If yes where we need to check and correct in SEPM Configuration.

    Example- now there is a domain pointing to ABC.com, now our team modifying it to XYZ.com. Please advice what are the option that i need to check and modify in SEPM to get its updates from Symantec.com and to push the defs to its clients. -- Thank you.

    It shouldn't affect communication . The ony thing you may need to do is re-run the management server config wizard to point back to the DB after the change.

    Sorry I missed to mentioned one more point is that SEPM is not joined to any domain.

    Doesn't need to be. It will work regardless of beig in a domain or not as long as it can communicate with the DB over 1433 and with clients over 8014 over 443.
