How can I change the email notifications delivery from HTML format to text email format?

Is the for all email notifications or is this for reporting? I am referring to the "security alert notifications" emails.

NOTE: Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM) 12.1.1101.401 (RU1 MP1) supports sending email notifications in plain text format. 
The default format remains HTML. 
To send notifications in plain text format, the SEPM administrator must edit the conf.properties file on the server and add the following new line:
scm.email.content.type=text/plain

I am using SEPM 14.1 so can the config file be changed here and the Tech doc does not say where to find this .conf file to edit.

The doc doesn't list 14 so I can only assume. You'll need to back the file up and test it.

Ok that did not fix the issue for me so i guess that the feature is not supported in SEPM 14.1.

Did you restart the SEPM service? The article does not specify but it may be worth a shot.
