    Hi,

Having a list of subkeys, it is possible to change the default encryption subkey and / or the default signing subkey in a keypair ..?

I have a subkey that appears only with the icon of a public key and also appears as the default (I do not understand how they created it).

I know I can revoke it and then delete it if necessary, but I noticed that I did not see how to change the subkey by default and if someone has an idea of how a subkey was created as only public would be useful to know, in addition to understanding what it would serve

    Thank you

Could you provide a bit more context please?  Is this SED, SEMS, or PGP Command Line?  What's the purpose of the key?

    Hi SMLatCST,

Maybe with the attached image I can explain myself better. I use SEMS

The subkey enclosed in red has a public key icon. I understood that at the subkey level you could only create keypairs (like the two previous subkeys in the list). In turn, that public key is the default one.

    Questions:

    1. How can you create a subkey that is public only ...?
    2. What would that key be like for that ...?
    3. How can I change that key so that the default is the first one in the list that allows me to encrypt?

    Regards.
