  • 1.  Change the Upgrade Settings for Previouly Deployed Packages

Hello, I have an issue I can't seem to find the answer too.  I submitted the new 12.1.6.MP5 package out to my client devices last week, and thought everything was set to have them all install overnight and force a restart.  Apparently that was not the case, as I have only had about 2-3 clients upgrade each night since deploying it(last thursday). I created a better Client Install Setting and wanted to use it so I went to re-deploy the package to the clients in hopes that it will push them through overnight and have all my devices uptodate. The system informs me I have already deployed the upgrade to that group and closes out.  Rather than moving all my client devices into a new group to deploy them, is there a way to change the settings on the previously deployed package and have it in a way redeploy itself using an update client install setting?

You can do it for specific features, if that's what you mean:

Add or remove features to existing Endpoint Protection clients

I am wanting to resend the setting to force the clients to install and restart between a certain timeframe.  So that they all get the client and restart overnight.

You would need to delete the package that you initially set. For clients that already checked in and grabbed the intial package, they will still use that.

For any new clients that check in after setting the new package up, they will grab that one.
