  • 1.  Citrix Storefront, html5, causes Symantec Service Framework to crash

    I'm on xenapp 7.16 running on server 2016.  Running it via receiver, the applications runs fine.  When i use html5 to launch applications, i get a pop up stating that the Symantec Service Framework has stopped working.  Eventlogs point to Event 1000, Application error, faulting application: ccSvcHst.ext.  Any ideas?  This happens on both xenapp servers.

    What's the exact version of SEP running? This may have been a bug/known issue in an older version. The latest is 14 RU1 MP1 or 12.1.6 MP9.

    For support purposes they will need a SymDiag log plus a full process dump:

    We're on 14.0 MP2.  I've opened a case with Symantec.  They just sent me this article...will try it out.  https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.TECH188045.html

    Disregard...that solution doesnt apply to me.  Ugh
