Is it possible to purge all patches and start again from scratch! I have got way too many going back over 2 years. I have got lots of policies and to disable every one of them will take forever. Looking for a quick effctive way to purge!

    Thanks

In the Patch Remediation Center, you can highlight one, or many, bulletins and Right-Click > Disable. I would not suggest doing this though as you your Log Viewer will light up like a Christmas tree. I would recommend disabling at the policy level, wait a week or two, then delete the policy. Once the policy is deleted, then disable from Patch Remediation Center. I have not disabled anything in a while, but I dont believe this removes the patch from the file system though. You would still have to clean it from there. It will switch the download flag to 0 though.

At the end of this you should be able to delete the Package from Manage > Resources > All resources > Package

There is a process to clean-up Patch Update Packages and troubleshoot if there are any failures; outlined on KM: TECH183806
