Client Management Suite

I am tryin to install Client Management Suite.

I am using SIM and then I seltect CMS. It dowloads a 3.21 GB file.

When I run the setup file, it extracts the file and then it says it will launch the setup. However the same screen comes up which gave me the same option to select the components, which came at the first place.

Let me know, if I am doing something wrong.

Choose install new products after you install SIM.  It sounds like you chose the Create an installation package option, which downloads the solutions you select and packages them for an offline installation on a different server.  That's why when you run the package you created you're right back where you started.  If you had created an offline package, the next step would be to choose 'Install new products.'

this version is only supported on Windows 2008 R2 x64 bit.

The option is not highlighted.

Actually, I think it's supported on either Server 2003 32-bit (to install 7.0 solutions) or Server 2008 R2 64-bit (to install 7.1 solutions).  What OS are you using, Geek786?

This combination of OS and architecture is not supported.  You will want to rebuild with Server 2008 R2 64-bit.

Is it mentioned anywhere?

I built a 2008 R2 last month and I was told by Symantec that its not compatible with R2 and now the new version is not compatible with 2008 32 bit. :)
