  • 1.  Client Version showing version 12 and not 14

    Hello, I wanted to ask if there was a way to fix the problem of when I update a Client's Symantec from version 12 to 14 that it updates but on the manager it still reads 12. I attached a screenshot of the problem. Please someone help me, thanks. Kevin

    Has the client checked in with the SEPM to upload its log and update status? Has the client been rebooted since doing the upgrade?

    Yes its been rebooted several times but still shows the same thing.

    Perhaps something became corrupted during the upgrade. First, I'd run the SymDiag tool on the affected client to make sure all looks good:

    Download SymDiag to detect Symantec product issues

    If that checks out, you may want to try running a repair on the SEP client via add/remove programs just to get everything back in order.

    Alright I did a scan with SymDiag and it turns out it that the Firewall was blocking the symantec ports to update the client. Thanks for your help Brian.
