Hello - I recently updated all my PCs to the newest version 4013. Ever since the update - the PCs are communicating with the SEPM (meaning the green dot is lit), the PCs are getting updated but not reporting as updated in the SEPM (which is causing my reports to be way off). See attachment. Screen prints - the first print is from the SEPM reporting the virus defs date as April 18th. but the 2nd screen print from the actual PC itself shows current defs.
How do i fix this?
thanks

If you do a search for a PC in the SEPm does it show up multiple times?
Some do (got a cure for that??) but this one in particular does not. thx

You can delete duplicates. Aside from that does the check in time show as being recent?
Last time status changed was May 13th
Clear the definition and check for the update
Check ther manager look in your Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\data\inbox directories and see if you have a buildup of DAT or ERR files, large numbers of files could be manager to database problems or possibly full tables in your SQL database.
no DAT or ERR files...
Hello again - now my home tab of my SEPM is reading only 19 pc are up to date and 6696 are not. but when you look at the pie chart - it reflects the opposite. How do I fix this? a manual fix will not do for over 6000 machines.
nobody offered any response but it looks like the problem fixed itself.
