I'm after some help using remote control via the NS console. I have a single NS server in the internal network, this also hosts the pcA "Quick Connect" tools. I also have the pcA Access Server located in the DMZ.

I have two policies for the pcA plug-in (12.5) that are delivered to the targets successfully. Basically desktop machines are connected to directly by pcA. While laptops use the Access Server; irrespective of whether they are on the internal network or the internet.

The laptops "dock" successfully; both internally and externally.

Using the pcA "Quick Connect" tools I can connect successfully to desktops. I can also connect to laptops using Quick Connect and the Access Server; again internally and externally.

However, using the NS console, and the remote control options, I can only connect directly to machines ie. not using the Access Server. Trying to connect to a host that is docked to the Access Server fails.

All ports are the default settings TCP 5631 and UDP 5632.

Does anyone have any idea why the NS console fails to remote control via the Acess Server?
    Thanks in advance.

User error on my part. I needed to enter the Access Server address when using the NS Console remote control. I was already doing this using the Quick Connect method!
When I used it correctly; all was well!
