ok so bare with me please..

we have most of our environment on Windows 7 and still a good chunk on Windows XP SP3.

however we do have a select handfull (38) that are XP SP1/2 and cannot be upgraded. I have our current server up to CMS 7.5 SP1 HF5 and going CMS 7.6 HF7. To this...

 

XP SP1/2 will install CMS 7.1 agents
Will not install 7.5 and up agents

Our 7.5 SP1 environment manages these machines just fine. It was under my impression from reading that 7.6 will no longer support XP SP1 or SP2. however I was asked to test this. I setup a VM and builg a SP2 machine and found the main 7.1 installer we had. We previously then let the server upgrade/install all sub agents. These get deleted after 1 week so they are not even cached on the machines anymore. 

so I found Inventory and App Meter installers in the rollup v4 folder but I cannot find Software management and patch management installers (32bit) ...

 

anyone point me to a location or able to put them on dropbox for me? 

out of all our old computers I did find a XP SP3 running 7.1 with all agents. Pointed it to our 7.6 server and it has the green check and maybe working just fine.

I need those other installers to verify a true XPSP1 or SP2 machine.

just took a look and it seems that the 7.1 agents uninstalled from the machine and now it is an unmanaged client! YIKES! I will have to make sure to exclude these from any upgrade filters....

 

Could you not run Symantec Installation Manager (SIM), go to "Create installation package", select "Show all available versions" then select "Altiris Client Management Suite 7.1 SP2 MP1" and extract the agents from that. If HF4 is important then build a VM, install a temp NS with CMS 7.1 SP2 MP1 and use the "Upgafred installed products"option to get HF4.
