I was reading over the latest Support Platform Matrx Document for 8.1. I am going to move from 7.6 HF7 to 8.0/8.1 soon. Looking over the Site Server OS support matrix. SMP 8.1 supports Windows 7 up to some degree (it has a !10). !10 says Windows 7 does not support NBS. I am currently using NBS under 7.6HF7 with two of my sites, working well. But I am looking over this to see what I have ahead of me when I move to 8.0 or 8.1. I am wondering if Task and Package Services will still run with WIndows 7? I can deal without NBS on my two site servers for a little while.
Does anyone know if it is only NBS that will affected if I go to 8.1 and still use Windows 7 as my site servers?
