Hello, 

Looking for some thoughts and experience from anyone who has integrated Altiris CMS with an external Software Asset Management platform. We are currently exploring a few vendors for software asset management and no Altiris did not make the short list. Nevertheless I am hoping to find other that might have been in the same position who have integrated CMS into a Software Asset Management system and succes you've had at potentially a two way integration. 1 Sending inventory data into the Asset Management System and maybe 2 having CMS leverage the license inventory or entitlement data from the Asset Management platform.

We would normally use Symantec Workflow to make this integration work, but it always depends on what product is on the other side. Symantec's ITMS is very open for integration.

I apologise it's a bit of a general response, however without knowing what the other product is, then it's difficult to answer specifically. If you have any more information on this and the data you would like to share between both systems, then we may be able to help with suggestions to meet your requirements.
