  • 1.  COH32 and CPU utilization

We have a user that has had the deadly coh32 - Random, several times a day high CPU utilization.  It comes and goes and we have had a difficult time determining the source.

Yes we are using the latest client - we had him on RU5 and recently tried RU6.

He mostly runs MS products and Internet access.  I discovered he has an old and large PST file in Outlook.  He does run powerpoint and Word a great deal.  Are there settings in MS Office that could trigger a TruScan or PTP occurance on a random basis?

    Help me I'm Dwounding!

file system autoprotect might be scaning her pst....
try creating an exception for her pst and check if that goes down

Includes a method to force the detection of the process.

Title: 'COH32.exe utilizes 90-100% CPU usage for extended periods'
