  • 1.  Computer displays blinking cursor after entering passphrase Win 10

    Hello,

    I am getting a black screen with a blinking cursor after entering a passphrase.  I found and followed the suggestions in TECH149455​, even deleting the recovery partition, none of it worked.  Are there any other suggestions?  I have Endpoint Encryption 11 installed on 6 other identical Lenovo M90s - all of them work except one....

    Which version of 11 are you running?  Was the boot order switched from UEFI to legacy boot in the BIOS?

    Hello,

     

    Sorry for the delya in getting back.  We have Version 11.0.0, but 10.3 was installed on this PC.  This PC is in production and I will not be able to take it out until 11/22.  I will update you after I install the newer version.

    Hi Justin,

    Switching the BIOS to boot to UEFI only resolved the issue.
