    Hello.

So we have 2012 Server with Symantec Endpoint Encrytion manager.

Everything works well on all computers. BUT...!

Now we bought a new computer. HP Zbook 15u G3.

I have installed the computer as usual. Joind domain and then installed SEE Management Agent Client x64.

    Then reboot.

After reboot i install SEE Drive Encryption client x64.

    The reboot.

This always works and computer starts encrypting.

But now when the computer starts up it popups that the device has been Decrypted succesfully.

I try send encrypt command from manager but nothing happends.

On the computer i have logg errors:

Failed to register client administrator ´encryption.admin´ Error -11980

I have tryed to reinstall computer and change computer name.

    Anyone have any idea??

I have a Dell Precision 7510 laptop that will not encrypt. PGP Desktop 10.2.1 installed. I get the window to enroll (enter credentials) in encryption, but after typing in my network password, the following error pops up: PGP ERROR: Could not start disk encryption err:-11980. Any ideas? Thanks

Hi, I encounter the same issue. Mine is a new Lenovo T470.

I did the same step by step installation like you and the error is same like yours.

So no one knows how to handle this yet?

I also find an error message saying something about the disk not being an OPAL.
