Has anyone found a way to make the "New Computers" saved search useful?  Out of the box it displays computers newly-discovered from a calendar date. 

I've tried to create a custom saved search to show computers discovered in X days but haven't been successful. 

Anyone have an idea on how to show "New Computers In The Last 7 Days"?

I'm almost positive this saved search used to be New Computers in the last 3 days.  Maybe one of the updates changed it because I've found it to be much less useful lately.

I'd also love to change it (back to) 'last x days" but haven't figured out how to.

What happens with your saved search that's unsuccessful?  I would recommend creating a search, then clicking the floppy icon to save it, and then reusing it later when accessing the console.

I don't know about OP, but I tried to do this and couldn't find the variable to set it to do X days.

The default new computer search is "created date >= some date"

I couldn't even find in the 'add custom criteria' dialogue where created date is, but I found discovered date, but this too only gave option to create a search based on some date, not X days.

Correct!  It's not an issue of creating *A* saved search.  It's an issue of creating a saved search to do what is described in the first post.

What you're currently looking to do isn't possible today with saved searches.

Can we try to get this shoehorned into the roadmap somehow?  Do I need to make an idea for this?
