Concurrent users vs Authenticated Users

    Hi All,

    I just want to ask the difference between number of concurrent users ( under Statistics > Summary > Device) and the number of users count (under Statistics > Authentication > Display by user). Why is concurrent users greater than the one in authentication users?

    Hi,

     

               The number of Concurrent Users under Statistics > System & Resources > Concurrent Users is calculated based on the number of concurrent  IP addresses intercepted by the ProxySG appliance. Ref . Authenticated users among this is a subset of the actual requests hitting the proxy. The difference could be due to machines failing to authenticate or policy not attempting to authenticate etc
