    We have emails leaving the coucnil receiving the above message, require assistance.

    Morning Ian, thank you for replying so promptly.

    Possibly 212.219.247.157 

    Though that is for our mail outbound over the internet.  The mail flow we have is going over the Government Secure Network and as such does not leave our organisation directly.  It may leave a gateway on the GSX network, but I will not have access to it's IP.

    Hi Steven

    I checked the IP you gave and do not see any issues with it, so as you say it may not be the IP that is causing the issue.

    I see you say that the mail is being sent outbound. Can I ask from which domain this is being sent, and also which smarthost are you pointing to?

    It may be best to directly message me this information so it is not then public.

    Issue resolved by Vodafone I believe, well we can now email and receive to gov.scot.
