  • 1.  Copy SEP Group to another SEP Domain

    Posted Sep 06, 2017 02:24 PM

    Hello,

We have a SEPM instance with about 200 Domains...

The problem is, that we need a new Group which must have the same policies in all 200 Domains.

The policies are already submitted through the export and import of our "root domain" (this was done a few years ago...)

But now it is the time to create a new group for quarantine which we need in all 200 Domains.

Does anyone know how to do this except manually?

Rightclick and copy group policies does not work because the clipboard object is deleted after changing the SEP domain.

What does the trick? SQL? Vodoo or something else? ;)

    Thanks!

I've never seen an option like this. You'd create the same group on the new domain and replace the sylink on the clients with the one from the new domain to get them moved over.

The group in the new domain needs to have its own unique sylink. Trying to copy it over wouldn't work.

    Thank for your answer!

I do not need to move any client.

The clients are restricted to their initial domains.

I am looking for a "copy & paste" option ...

Does anyone else have an idea or script to do this?

Again, I don't believe "copying" groups is possible. It needs to be unique, which means manually created.
