  • 1.  Corporate Edition 7.6 haunting me

    Posted Apr 22, 2009 12:22 PM
I have what I assume came with the machine in the Norton AV Corporate Edition. Ever since I upgraded to 360 months ago, I have had issues and more issues. I am now trying to uninstall all of Norton and I keep getting a "fatal error during installation" when uninstalling the corporate. Um, I am not installing you idiot!  I have called support twice this morning and got emails with invalid codes to uninstall. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and I am not a computer geek so speak blonde please.

    hi,

    Are you still on 7.6?????????????????????

I remeber 7.6 was launched in 2000-2001. I think they are installed wither on Windows 95 or Windows98.

Please try to get NONAV 2.611 from Symantec Technical support team and remove it.

If it fails to get remove, then better to remove it manually or else FORMAT.

Its NeW Generation going BOSS !!! pls upgrade to either SAV 10.1.8.8000 or SEP 11.0MR4MP1a.

    Rgrds,
    SAM

It's strange that you are still using 7.6.
It seems that you will have to format the machine.

Just try to unistall it using a Norton removal tool if u have Norton Install or use Cleanwipe incase of Corporate edition. Restart the machine and Run NSS Scan. now yu can install ur product. Its a virus activity.

Try   NONAV 2.611  to remove antivirus.

get SEP11MR4 instead of 360  for better performance
