  • 1.  Corrupt Patch totals

    Hello, I'm experiencing an issue with what appears to be corrupt totals in the Windows Compliance by Computer section of the Patch Management solution. The top two entries in the image below show corrupt totals, the bottom entry is of a newly imaged PC (image is 2 yrs old), which shows the proper number of applicable updates.

    Some info: we recently upgraded from 7.5 to 8 Symantec Management Platform. We couldn't import the database from 7.5 so we just started new, rediscovered the client PCs, and upgraded the agents to 8.0.Initailly the totals looked fine but as I have been deploying new updates we are getting these corrupt totals on over half of the PCs.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    How much time has passed?  Patch is based on inventory and perhaps you don't have that complete patch inventory data back from that client yet?

    It appears to be working itself out. Most of them have reverted to proper values. Maybe as you suggested, it just needed to re-inventory.
