Hi all,
I have experienced recently a strange behaviour with one of the recent update, the update came up as "Symantec Endpoint Protection has detected that a newer version of the software is available. Do you want to install it now? then "The Symantec Endpoint Protection installation required this computer to restart." see symantec upgrade screen.jpg
The PC rebooted and the screen became green and the windows screen prompt started but then stopped and a message appeared stating "rolling back upgrade", we had to unsinstall the software and reinstall it fully from the latest version, has the patch got corrupted?
Please note this is the second time as unfortunately the first PC didn't recover automatically and corrupted the boot.
Anyone has seen something like this recently ?
