    Good morning,

I have recently been upgraded to Windows 7 and a change to PGP Desktop 10.2.0.

I have managed to get everything working the way I need apart from one option to encrypt a file with SDA. I can see the option is there when I right click on the file, but it is disabled.

I had a look through the help section and can see the following message:

"Note: If you are using PGP Desktop in a PGP Universal Server-managed environment, PGP Zip SDA creation may be disabled."

I believe we do use PGP Universal so I guess this is the reason, but is there any way the SDA can be enabled?

Apologies if this is a stupid question but I'm not overly familiar with PGP Desktop.

Any advice would be appreciated. Many thanks in advance

    Neil

    It's a policy option:

Consumers > Consumer Policy > Policy Name > PGP Desktop > Zip & Shredder

There's a tick box there called: Allow the user to create and open PGP Zip archives and create SDAs
