Deployment and Imaging Group

I created a software package for Adobe CS6 using the Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edtion. I go through all the steps using AAMEE to include the liccense and updates.  Once the package is created I then go to the software catalog and import the files.  Once th eimport is finished I then create a task to perofrm a package delivery.  I start the job and at some point in the job it fails with a return code of 1603.  Looking at the task I see the following message. 

 

<nobr>Failure message: </nobr>	program has failed with return code = 1603
<nobr>Package download status: </nobr>	Package already downloaded, but failed to launch the program successfully

 

Can anyone explain what is causeing this failure?

Have you tried running the package manually?

Does the agent download the entirity of the package? Compare the package in PS to the packge in the agent to see if there are files missing.

You need to find the log files for the install on the client PC. c:\windows\temp is a good place to start or maybe c:\programdata\adobe
