Would like to know weather Prevention and Detection policies applicable for Physical server will be applicable even for VM Server's residing in Hypervioser.

I am new to CSP was going through the documents was reffering to vSphere policies, Wanted to clarify how VM servers residing inside the Hypervisor are protected is it the same way as physical servers where agents are installed on VM servers which resides inside hypervisor and communicates with managerment server(Even mgmt server is on the VM Environment) or only vSphere environment is protected using CSP.

Need suggestions, guidence and clarifications on the above query.

    Thank You

If a VM has the agent installed and appears as an asset in the management server, the prevention and detection policies will behave just as they do on a physical machine.  They are managed just like any other machine.

Refer to the Platform Feature Matrix guide for more information about your particular OS.
