Team, I have been working an implementation where the client wants to do custom variables when creating the Email Notification Response Rule.
To my knowledge, we can not create custom variables but wanted to check if it is possible? If so how?
hello,
It depends of what type of custom varibales you want to add to your notification but you can use incident custom attribute in DLP notification ($ATTRIBUTE<number>$).
Regards
Stephane,
So what will that <number> refere to?
How do I identify that valu?
ADILT,
It is not so obvious but if you go to DLP UI page with list of attribute, just put your mouse on an attribute then you will see in bottom of your browser the attribute number in link (or you can edit page source and look in it to have attribute numbers). I never found a better way to get them (except also looking directly into DLP database).
Regards.
Can you provide the exact syntax?
I tried what you suggested and it said it was an unknown variable.
My custom variable ID was 122
it is
$ATTRIBUTE_122$
regards
^^ That worked. Thanks a lot.
Thank you everyone. This worked. But it looks like only for Custom Attributes (from incident shapshot) can be added. But that is good enough for now.
