Not sure if I "Need a solution" or not but more wanting some clarification.
GSS 3.2 was released and on the product page it states, "A Minor Release incorporates all previous Maintenance Packs and Fixes since the prior Major Release. It is tied to the preceding Major Release and may contain new features, new platform support, new operating system support, and the latest maintenance updates. It typically requires a new installation."
However, one of the "Known Issues" of GSS 3.2 is DAgent crashing in Automation with the error "dagent.exe - Application Error - The instruction at 0x7764043e referenced memory at 0x0054005c. The memory could not be written. Click on OK to terminate the program."
This issue was listed as "Fixed" in GSS 3.1 MP2.
Is this error in fact present in GSS 3.2 or was it fixed? If it hasn't been fixed any timeline on a MP to fix it? I'd really love to move to GSS 3.2 this summer, but I did randomly get this DAgent crash and would rather avoid it if at all possible.
On a side note, kinda silly for Symantec to release the "new version" GSS 3.2 and introduce a new issue what was fixed in the previous version almost a year ago.
