Its a FIM requirements, would like to know does DCS comply below requirements if yes. kindly comment.

1. Alerting - how does it work? Email and or messages?

2. Tagging - Can we assign certain tags to devices/servers for monitoring purposes?  

3. Custom rules - For monitoring different set of directories and file systems.

4. Reporting - Granular, custom reporting.

5. Is it agent based irrespective of the environment it is being deployed in (VMWare, OpenStack, etc). If agent based, what is the impact on the compute?

6. Integration with SIEM tools like Splunk, Kibana, etc

7. Docker supported - Can the files inside the docker container be monitored by the agent on the host machine?

8. VCenter deployment? Will it support any other technologies like OpenStack, etc?

9. Network devices? Which all supported? Switches, Firewalls, etc?

10. OS support? (Alpine, CoreOS, Linux Kit, Windows, Ubuntu)

11. Server specs for implementation?

12. Log file monitoring is it possible? If yes, how does it account for incremental nature of hte log file?

Do you have a Symantec Account Manager? It may be best to engage with them when this level of detail is needed on a product.
