I am hoping to get some help for decrypting this encrypted-file.
The file was encrypted in the year 2011 by one of our engineers. We want to decrypt it and check the contents of the file . We have the password. We spoke with the engineer who encrypted it to find out the algorithm/software he used to encrypt it, he mentioned that although he cannot remember the exact software used however it could be Symantec. As we are not certain whether it was Symantec used in year 2011, how do we decrypt it?
