    Hi Team, Please suggest me why we have virus definition in two location.

    C:\ProgramData\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\12.1.7004.6500.105\Data\Definitions\VirusDefs

     

    C:\ProgramData\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\CurrentVersion\Data\Definitions\VirusDefs

    its a junction point not the true folder

    Thank you,  is this normal for SEP 12.1, but the definition folder utilizing disk space with same size. defintion folder size is around 317 MB and same in other as well,

    It's a junction point so this is normal. It's only 1 folder

    DIR /AL shows junction points.
