  • 1.  Delivery Status Notifications and SBG 9

    Hello all!

    Can somebody tell me does SBG version 9 supports Delivery Status Notifications?
    I found this: http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/ent-gate.nsf/docid/2009093012184454 But that article is written for Release(s): BG 2007 7.5, BG 2007 7.6, BG 2007 7.6.1, BG 5.0, BG 7.7, BG 8.0


    When I tried to send outbound message throug SBG 9.01 I received that:
    Your message was successfully relayed by <my_mail_server> at 22.06.2010 12:29:51 to the remote mail system <SBG9_server> that does not support confirmation of delivery.
    So that means no DSN support in SBG 9?

    Hi,

    No, the ESMTP extension for DSN support is not included in Brightmail Gateway.
    It is on the roadmap for a future release but no date or release has been confirmed yet.

    Could you go over to the Ideas section of Symantec Connect and put your request for this functionality in there.
    It will help us to prioritise against other incoming requests.
