    I have 11.5.1.2266

    I see from reading the forums that a lot of Dells and Ghost do no play well.  I have a Dell 6005 (AMD Processor and Windows 7) and I am trying to create an image.

    I have printed out and read the "How to resolve" document and implemented the PCI value in the pci.manifest.txt file only because I do not know where to get drivers to add to WinPE.  As I expected the client startup did not return the error, but went into a loop to dicover the Ghost Server.

    Devices are: Standard AHCI 1.0 Serial ATA Controller & Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet (5755 ?)

       {
        0x1002 = {
            0x4391 = (0x3047103c)
        }
    } {
        0x14e4 = {
            0x1681 = (0x3047103c)
        }
    }

    Do I need the 2269 patch?

    Hi,

    From the information you have provided in the post, i was able to locate the NIC and the SATA drivers for you. Add these drivers to the Ghost boot wizard and try to create the image.

    NIC:

    http://www.broadcom.com/support/ethernet_nic/driver-sla.php?driver=570x-Vista-32&archive=0

    SATA:

    http://downloadcenter.intel.com/confirm.aspx?httpDown=http://downloadmirror.intel.com/18859/eng/iata96enu.exe&lang=eng&Dwnldid=18859

    Refer the following video for adding drivers in WindowsPE,

    Hope this helps !

    Regards,

    I looked into the unchecked boxes (in Boot Wizard) a little closer and Broadcom/AHCI options were already there to select.  I tried them and to my surprise it worked.  So, I didn't even add any drivers to WinPE.  Of course, I am just starting to use this product and I'm sure the video will come in handy down the road for new computers coming into the school district.

    Anyway, many thanks to your great reply.
